Explore NYC: Spring Break Trip<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

spring break: March 7-11, 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us during spring break for a field trip to the creative heart of American culture. On this multidisciplinary trip, we\u2019ll experience New York City museums, performances, and architectural sites including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Line and Little Island, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Broadway shows, the Village Vanguard, and the Martha Graham Conservatory. Accommodations will be at the beautiful Freehand Hotel<\/strong><\/a>, located in the Flatiron District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This trip is open to any eligible COA+A students majoring in art & art history, architecture, dance, music, and theatre! See eligibility requirements below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday, March 7<\/strong>: Travel to NYC via American Airlines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday, March 8<\/strong>: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday, March 9<\/strong>: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, March 10<\/strong>: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, March 11<\/strong>: Return to CLT via American Airlines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will personalize their itineraries from pre-selected locations to tour with their chaperones. Site visits could include the Apollo Theater, <\/a>Museum of Natural History<\/a>, Brooklyn Bridge<\/a>, St. Patrick\u2019s Cathedral<\/a>, Off-Broadway Matinee Performances, Whitney Museum,<\/a> High Line<\/a>, Little Island<\/a>, Metropolitan Museum,<\/a> Central Park<\/a>, Lincoln Center campus<\/a>, Hudson Yards<\/a>, Museum of Modern Art<\/a>. There will also be free time for students to explore NYC their own as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
