Find a supportive community and varied curriculum to help you discover your artistic voice at UNC Charlotte’s Department of Theatre!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Theatre offers a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with concentrations in one of the following areas: Performance; Design\/Tech; Directing, Dramaturgy and Dramatic Writing; Applied Theatre; and Theatre Education (with the possibility of obtaining a North Carolina teaching license). A Minor in Theatre and an Undergraduate Certificate in Musical Theatre are also offered. Coursework in the Department of Theatre is available to all students enrolled at the University, as are the auditions for our productions. Discover our programs below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theatre, Theatre Education (K-12) Concentration, B.A. \u2192<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This concentration is designed for students who wish to teach theatre in public schools, Kindergarden-12th grade. The coursework is designed to lead to state licensure in North Carolina for K-12.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
