Thomas Forget presented “Change of Scale: A Model of City as Territory” in the session City Models: Making and Remaking Urban Space<\/em> at the 70th<\/sup> Annual International Conference of the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) at the University of Strathclyde, Technology & Innovation Centre, Glasgow, Scotland, June 7-11. <\/p>\n Emily Makas presented “Interpreting Mostar in the City\u2019s Museums” at the International Federation for Public History (IFPH-FIHP) 4th Annual Conference at the University of Bologna, Campus Ravenna, Italy, June 5-9. A week later, she presented “Multiculturalism in Public Histories of Mostar and Sarajevo since the Bosnian War” at the European Architectural History Network (EAHN) 2017 Conference at the Van Lear Jerusalem Institute, June 13-15.<\/p>\n Jefferson Ellinger presented “Next Generation Building Technologies: A Different Path Towards Commercialization,” and Peter Wong and SoA Director Chris Jarret presented “RAW: Social and Economic Complexity in Wilmore” at the 2017 Architecture Research Centers Consortium (ARCC) Conference \u201cArchitecture of Complexity\u201d at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, June 14-17. Mona Azarbayjani\u2019s co-authored papers, \u201cVisual Qualities and Perceived Thermal Comfort\u201d and \u201cQuestionnaire Survey on Factors Influencing Occupant\u2019s Overall Satisfaction on Different Office Layout in a Mixed-Humid Climate,\u201d were also presented at the 2017 ARCC Conference.<\/p>\n Zhongjie Lin presented \u201cRethinking the Compact City\u201d at the 11th International Association for China Planning (IACP) Conference in Harbin, China, June 16-18; and “Toward an Asian Sustainable Urbanism\u201d and \u201cSuzhou Industrial Park: A Case Study in Town Building Based on Singapore Model\u201d at the Passive and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA) 2017 International Conference, \u201cDesign to Thrive,\u201d in Edinburgh, Scotland, July 3-5. <\/p>\n Ming-Chun Lee presented “From Blue-Printing to Finger-Printing: Building Healthy Communities with Scenario Planning\u201d at CUPUM 2017, the 15th International Conference on Computers in Urban Planning and Urban Management, held at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, July 11-14.
