Cartage Theatre, a local theatre company founded by Assistant Professor of Costume Design Aly Amidei<\/a> with her husband, Brian Amidei, will present An Apology for the Course and Outcome of Certain Events Delivered By Doctor John Faustus On This His Final Evening<\/em> at the Warehouse Performing Arts Center in Cornelius, November 1-17. The play, by contemporary playwright Mickle Maher, features Brian Amidei as the legendary Doctor Faustus.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor of Directing Robin Witt<\/a>, who has won critical acclaim and awards for her numerous productions in Chicago, directs. Associate Professor of Lighting Design David Fillmore <\/a>has designed the lighting; Aly Amidei has designed the costumes; theatre alumna Andrea Santos has designed the set.<\/p>\n
