The College of Arts + Architecture Musical Theatre Certificate program is pleased to announce that three students placed in the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Music Theater auditions<\/a>, with two additional students advancing to the regional auditions. The Fall 2020 Music Theater NC NATS Virtual Conference was held on November 13 and 14.<\/p>\n

Drew Coley<\/strong> (pictured above, left) won First Place in the Third Year College\/Independent Studio Music Theater (Tenor, Baritone, Bass) audition.<\/p>\n

Migdalia Ramirez<\/strong> (pictured above, center) won Second Place in the Fourth\/Fifth Year College\/Independent Studio Music Theater (Treble Voice) audition.<\/p>\n

Sam Pomerantz<\/strong> (pictured above, right) won Third Place in the Third Year College\/Independent Studio Music Theater (Tenor, Baritone, Bass) audition.<\/p>\n

Sarah Freeman<\/strong> advanced to the Mid-Atlantic Regional NATS Student Auditions in the Second Year College\/Independent Studio Music Theater (Treble Voice) category.<\/p>\n

Allison Hancock<\/strong> advanced to the Mid-Atlantic Regional NATS Student Auditions in the Third Year College\/Independent Studio Music Theater (Treble Voice) category.<\/p>\n

Ramirez is a voice student of Audrey Babcock; Coley, Pomerantz, and Freeman are voice students of Dr. Sequina DuBose; Hancock studies voice with Christina Pier.<\/p>\n
