How did you first get interested in performing?<\/strong>
Being in the spotlight has always been a dream of mine, whether it\u2019s performing as a dancer or as an athlete. My interest in theatre started when I was a sophomore in college at Alabama State University. I noticed I had stage fright and I wanted help to overcome it. I also noticed my interest in other career paths such as working behind the scenes – watching my creativity come to life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of career do you hope to have?<\/strong>
My career goal is to become a professional dancer and gradually become an actress who advances in the behind-the-scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite thing about the College of Arts + Architecture?<\/strong>
My favorite thing about the CoA+A is the use of resources that can help students take interest in more than one thing. There are new opportunities offered everyday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell us about your play, \u201cYou Hear Me, But Are You Listening?\u201d which is being performed as part of the Department of Theatre\u2019s production, Gather Again<\/em>.<\/strong>
My play is about a star athlete of the house who is open about his sexuality, ready to take a stand, and follows his dreams against his father, but more so for himself. He finally has found his passion and he is happy within himself. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
