How did you first get interested in music?<\/strong>
I participated in choir for several years but I truly gained a love for music when I got into high school. I had such a great experience with choir and that teacher that it really inspired me to become a music educator!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What kind of career do you hope to have?<\/strong>
My goal is to teach High school choir and still find ways to perform while teaching!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Music?<\/strong>
I love how many opportunities that we get offered to do while attending UNC Charlotte. For example, a lot of University Chorale members were able to participate in a live orchestra playing of the Final Fantasy franchise! It was an amazing experience to be a part of!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts\/design community?<\/strong>
I am one of the Teaching Assistants for The University Chorale and also serve as one of the Alto section leaders and lead the choral experience team.\u00a0

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?<\/strong>
Outside of school, I love to hang out with best friends, my boyfriend, and collect pok\u00e9mon cards! I also love going to local shows and chilling at home with my cat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
