Our researchers are tackling the most pressing issues of our time from digital health, to new energy, and more. As an example, we are at the forefront of discovery leading in early childhood literacy. Through our collaborative efforts with industry experts, governmental agencies, and non-profits, we are transforming ideas into impactful outcomes that benefit society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of our commitment to world-class research coupled with our passion for answering critical research questions we achieved the Carnegie Research 1 (R1) status in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means our University is being recognized for setting records in research expenditures, new research, external research funding, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have six units to help navigate every part of the research and innovation journey. If you’re faculty, you will likely interface with most of the offices listed below. If you’re a partner (community, industry, non-profit, healthcare, government, or business), you will primarily interface with the Office of Research Commercialization and Partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
