NCFDD<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

UNC Charlotte is an Institutional member of NCFDD. The NCFDD is a nationally-recognized, independent organization that provides online career development and mentoring resources for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students. Faculty have access through the University\u2019s institutional membership to items such as the NCFDD\u2019s Weekly Monday Motivator, monthly core curriculum webinars, monthly guest expert webinars, access to multi-week courses, access to dissertation success curriculum for graduate students, a private discussion forum for peer-mentoring, problem-solving, and moderated writing challenges, monthly accountability buddy matches, access to 14-Day writing challenges, and access to the Member Library that includes past webinar materials, referrals, and readings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To claim access to the institutional membership, you will need to activate your personal membership account. Visit the NCFDD membership page<\/a> and select UNC Charlotte from the list of member institutions (note we are under UNC Asheville and Tulane not with other schools in the system). 2026 Postdoc Symposium<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are excited to announce the third annual North Carolina Postdoc Research Symposium<\/a><\/strong>, a statewide event that brings together postdoctoral scholars from institutions across North Carolina to share research, build connections, and explore career opportunities. The symposium will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026<\/strong>, at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center<\/strong> and will bring together 150+ postdoctoral scholars, faculty mentors, and research professionals from across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium will feature a full day of activities designed to promote research exchange, professional development, and community building, and will feature poster presentations, flash talks, career panels, networking opportunities, and a keynote address. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration is required and includes a $25 fee covering lunch. Postdocs interested in presenting a poster or flash talk are invited to submit an abstract using the submission portals below. Early registration is recommended due to limited capacity. More information can be found on the main webpage<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
