{"id":637,"date":"2017-09-14T08:50:32","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T12:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cws.charlotte.edu\/stage-research\/information-on-travel-disclosures\/"},"modified":"2024-04-08T16:38:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T20:38:41","slug":"information-on-travel-disclosures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cws.charlotte.edu\/stage-research\/departments\/office-research-protections-and-integrity-orpi\/conflict-interest\/conflicts-interest-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Information on Travel Disclosures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applicability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All UNC Charlotte employees subject to conflict of interest disclosure requirements are required to report sponsored or reimbursed travel and paid authorship that is related to their institutional responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to Disclose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any reimbursed or sponsored travel whose aggregate value paid or reimbursed by any single entity meets or exceeds $250 in the prior twelve months, except travel that is reimbursed or sponsored by a Federal, state, or local government agency, an institution of higher education, an academic teaching hospital, a medical center or a research institute that is affiliated with an institution of higher education. Travel that is sponsored or reimbursed by universities outside of the US, a foreign government, or a non-governmental organization must be disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Disclose sponsored or paid travel or Paid Authorship <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paid travel and authorship must be reported in your <a href=\"https:\/\/infoed.charlotte.edu\/EnableWeb\/Portal\/Home\">Niner Research<\/a> conflict of interest disclosure. No separate forms are required. Please carefully answer Pre Screening and Screening page questions to disclose these interests.
